NUNAVUT NEWS/NORTH - Kimmirut, (known as Lake Harbour until 1 January 1996) is located on the shore of Hudson Strait on Baffin Island. Kimmirut means "heel", and refers to a rocky outcrop in the inlet. Population about 400. NNSL file photo.
