Cambridge Bay's spring festival, Umingmak Frolics, was held May 13-20. It was another fun family and community event that was well attended.
With warmer temperatures this year, the ice where the snowmobile races were held was melting faster than other years. It was nice to see visitors from other communities and everyone getting wind tans. The kids had a lot of fun.
Koana for all the hard work from the hamlet and wellness centre staff and all the volunteers. Enjoy your spring, everyone. The community is quiet now. Many people have gone hunting and camping at their cabins.
