Residents in Whale Cove are being advised to boil any water used for consumption due to a transition from the community’s old water plant to a temporary treatment plant. There’s potential for bacteria to be present in the water.
The Department of Health is urging residents to bring water to a boil for at least a full minute when used for drinking, brushing teeth, cooking, preparing juices, ice cubes and infant formulas.
