Kugluktuk is under a boil water advisory due to cloudy water, or turbidity.
Residents are encouraged to bring water to a rolling boil for a minimum for one full minute for drinking, brushing teeth, preparing infant formulas, preparing juices and ice cubes, washing fruits and vegetables and cooking.
The Department of Health, which issued the advisory, stated that updates will be provided as conditions change.
