Kugluktuk RCMP charged a woman with the illegal sale of alcohol under the Nunavut Liquor Act on June 28 after seizing a dozen empty vodka bottles and three full ones.
The liquor was confiscated from a Kugluktuk residence after a search warrant was executed.
“The RCMP wish to encourage the communities to continue to report suspicious activity by contacting their home RCMP detachment or by calling Crime Stoppers at toll-free 1-800-222- 8477 (TIPS), submitting a secure web tip at www.nwtnutips.com or text ‘NWTNUTIPS’ plus your message to 274637 (CRIMES),” the Mounties wrote in a June 29 news release.
