Iqaluit RCMP have charged a 23-year-old Adam Kopalie with attempted murder and aggravated assault after they responded to a building fire on March 24, where they found a badly injured male.
The injured male was taken to the hospital and subsequently medevaced to Ottawa for further care.
His next court appearance will be on May 3.
