Occupants of a Kinngait home that caught fire on June 8 managed to escape without harm, according to the RCMP.
The Kinngait Fire Department extinguished the blaze, but the home suffered “moderate damage,” the police stated.
In a very brief news release on the morning of June 9, the Mounties revealed that the investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing and referred to the incident as “suspicious.”
No further details were provided.
