Jeannie Ehaloak

Reason for running:

Cambridge Bay is a community growing at a fast rate, it will take leadership that has grown with the development.

My experience and knowledge as mayor, president of Nunavut Association of Municipalities has given me territorial and federal understanding of programs and how funding flows that will ensure Cambridge Bay has access and funding and infrastructure needed for quality program delivery and training… working for our future.

I have a passion for the residents, wildlife and environment.

Pamela Gross

Reason for running:

I am running for Cambridge Bay MLA as it’s something that I’ve envisioned since childhood. Our time is now for change.

As we continue to grow as a territory, our needs evolve. As we walk in both the modern and cultural worlds, we have needs and desires that we would like to see fulfilled in our community. The community works in a balanced cycle. In order for us to achieve a healthy community we have to continue to offer services and programs for residents to live vibrantly.

I’m excited to continue the effort to make our community and territory a better place for all Nunavummiut. Collectively we can work together to move our community forward.
