The Department of Health has issued a boil water advisory for Baker Lake due to cloudy water from high turbidity.
Anytime water is used for drinking, preparing infant formula, making juice and ice cubes, washing fruit and vegetables, cooking or brushing teeth, it should be brought to a rolling boil in a pot or a kettle for at least one full minute, the department advises.
