Canada Day photo feature

Across the territory, communities participated in a variety of events to celebrate Canada Day.

Residents gathered for barbecues, cake and bike decorating contests, and other festivities.

In Pond Inlet, the weather was windy and sunny, but beautiful.

"Some kids decorated their bikes, there were foot races, juggling, homemade toy boat races, throwing rocks at rock stacks, hot dogs at a Mountie barbecue, fashion show, lots of laughs, too." said Milcah Mekai Popoff.
