"I almost didn't see this monster running beside me, with many men competing for the last tag for the season. :)
"It was way back in 2009 when us many men were at Button Point, each challenging for the last bear tag. We were always trying to be first to get to hunting grounds with more chance of catching a bear. One day I said to myself and went last instead, after about half an hour into our hunt I was speeding away as it was soo flat, I saw something running on the corner of my eye and saw it running away. Got lucky."

"This was 2017 May when I caught my first natsiaviniq.
"It was a fine spring day and we decided to go seal hunting in Rankin Inlet and there was only me, my dad, and my brother-in-law, and I was waiting at a hole for about half an hour and the water started moving so I got ready with my harpoon. When it got up (puik) I took a throw (kappik) and pulled it up. And my dad was about 50 feet away from me at another hole and my brother was about 70 feet away from me at another hole. After I caught my first seal in my life after so many years of trying, about 5 minutes later my brother-in-law caught the mother of my natsiavini and made mitts out of the seal skin (qisik)."

"This was in Arviat, Nunavut. Was awesome day for young Hunter Curley, by his grandma. First muskox of his life. Teaching young kids how to skin and hunt in Nunavut.
"Hunter Curley is 12 years old now and my wife Regalee Curley, we went out muskox hunting. He shot this in Arviat when he was 10. We were out for a week and three days, northwest of Arviat, 130 miles from home. Lots of muskox out here. And we hunt any amount we want. We planning out this spring again. Maybe with more kids with us. We were living of meat from catch. And enjoyed it that time."
