Edible cannabis and other products will be legal Oct. 17, GN says

The Nunavut Liquor and Cannabis Commission (NULC) issued an advisory on Friday to inform Nunavummiut that edible cannabis, cannabis extracts and cannabis topicals will be
legal as of Oct. 17.

However, due to Health Canada’s approval process, these new cannabis products will not be
available for legal purchase in Canada until mid-December 2019 at the earliest, the NULC stated in a news release.

The NULC also reminded Nunavummiut that legal cannabis can be bought from licensed
vendors at www.tweed.com and www.verticalcannabis.ca.
