Iqaluit Health Services outpatient clinics and Iqaluit Public Health (Building 1091) will be closed Friday due to the upgrade of Nunavut’s electronic health record system, the Department of Health advised on Thursday.
Clients seeking outpatient services, such as prescription refills and sexual health consults, are encouraged to plan their appointments around this one-day closure.
Emergency and in-patient services, as well as scheduled diagnostic imaging appointments, will not be affected by the closure, the department stated.
