UPDATE: RCMP state that the man in question was arrested on Friday night.
On Thursday morning, a man allegedly made threats toward a female employee at the Government of Canada building in Iqaluit, including that he was prepared to come to the building with a firearm, according to the Mounties.
The police were alerted and they secured the building, but they were unable to find the suspect.
