Johnny Reid fires it up in the Kitikmeot

Happy belated Valentine’s to everyone, especially those from the Kitikmeot Trade Show just held in Cambridge Bay where approximately 200 delegates and participants gathered.

Johnny Reid and his band were this year’s entertainment with great music. It was very touching to see Johnny Reid reaching out to our youth to live their dreams and future. He also spoke highly of caring and respecting our elders.

Lots of businesses and organizations got together to reach out to connect with potential clients, employees and students.

The theme this year was knowledge + training = success. This year’s fundraising at the auction and gala went to the search and rescue organizations in the whole Kitikmeot region communities.

Quana to all that worked hard to make the tradeshow happen and all the hard working hamlet staff, especially the amazing Jim MacEachern!
