Members of the Kitikmeot Inuit Association went to the polls on Monday to decide upon new executives.
Attima Hadlari was the resounding choice for the position of vice-president of wildlife and environment. He garnered 325 votes compared to 136 for Joe Ashevak and 107 for George Sonny Porter.
Natasha Lear will take over the position of Cambridge Bay board member for the KIA. She earned 75 votes while opponent Andre Otokiak received 52 votes.
Bob Aknavigak was acclaimed as vice-president of social and cultural development.
