Police ask for public's help to solve killing of sled dog in Iqaluit

Iqaluit RCMP are still investigating the killing of a sled dog that was reported on July 31, and they're asking the public for help in solving the crime.

The deceased animal was found in a sea can near the community’s sealift off-loading area.

"Since that time, the Iqaluit RCMP, along with the Iqaluit General Investigation Section and V Division Forensic Identification Section have been working to determine who committed this act," the RCMP stated in a Thursday news release.
