Citizens’ personal information is not believed to be at risk, according to the GN.
“GN departments are implementing contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted services to Nunavummiut. Restoring electronic data for services related to health, family services, education, justice and finance, is a priority,” the government stated.

The system will be offline for at least the next 8 days, until Nov. 12.
