The Royal Canadian Mounted Police located and arrested 32-year-old Donovan Akerlolik in Rankin Inlet on Friday evening, without incident.
Akerolik is facing criminal charges including two counts of assault causing bodily harm, mischief under $5,000, arson and several breaches of court orders.
The police offered their gratitude to the public for their assistance in the matter.
