RCMP resolve crisis in Pangnirtung

Pangnirtung RCMP have concluded a a “high-risk dynamic situation” that led the police to encourage residents to stay inside their homes earlier Monday night.

There’s no longer a need for concern, according to the Mounties.

Crisis negotiators and the RCMP’s “containment team” were sent to the community to support officers at the local detachment during the ordeal.
