Police in Iqaluit are looking into two reported robberies that occurred hours apart in Nunavut’s capital on Saturday.
Around 8:30 p.m., the Mounties responded to another call relating to a different man being beaten and having his wallet and cash stolen by two men between the Frobisher Inn and the high school. One suspect was wearing black jacket, black pants and a black ball cap. The other suspect was also wearing a black jacket and white pants.
Like the first victim, the man was checked over at the hospital and released.
