The Nunavut Royal Canadian Mounted Police is advising the public not to be alarmed if they notice a heavy police presence in Iqaluit on Thursday as a training exercise is set to take place.
The exercise will be centred around 1809 Kakivak Court between 1 p.m.-4 p.m.
"We thank the public in advance for their understanding," the RCMP stated in a Wednesday news release.
