Like the two-foot high kick, the one-foot high kick is one of the highlights of the Arctic Winter Games.
In this competition, the competitor stands on one foot, jumps in the air and hits a suspended sealskin ball, then lands on the same foot. This year, the gold medal went to Alaska’s Parker Benjamin Kenick with a 9’2” kick.
